If you’d like to proceed, I’ll design the furniture. My process includes research, sketching, joinery studies, selecting wood for its look and technical properties, and formal drafting of plans. The fee for me to undertake the design process is $350. At the end of this process, I’ll share a sketch of the design to give you an idea of what the final piece would look like, wood recommendations, a time estimate, and a fixed final cost should you wish to proceed with the build. If there are changes you’d like to see at this point I can make one set of changes based on your feedback. After that we can continue to make changes, but the cost thereafter is billed at $50 per hour.

I build your custom crafted furniture by hand, one piece at a time applying traditional techniques passed down through generations and using the best, sustainably sourced hardwoods. A 50% non-refundable deposit up front is required, with the remainder to be paid in full prior to delivery.
